The Design and Fashion sector is wide-reaching in its scope and its impact on other business sectors, encompassing as it does everything from graphic design and branding to product design, textiles and visual merchandising. The sector is particularly strong in the north of England, with a dynamic and varied workforce made up of freelancers, designer-makers, SMEs and large companies with international reputation.
The Design and Fashion strand within the Northern Edge CPE will support a range of activities for the sector through showcasing companies and offering opportunities to students, graduates and established businesses from around the region.
